why are iPods so cool?

Well, it depends on ipod if it is an ipod shuffle that is cool because it can hold so many songs and it's small. Now, ipod nanos is so cool not only because I have one, it's kind of cheap, you can download 500 songs, it has games and you can carry it around in one small player. Now video ipod is cool because not only that it holds 80 GB of entertainment it also plays video in the palm of your hand. If you have one that means you are cool because it says you have a good computer to download music and you look cool.

I don't think they are cool. I think it's a poor piece of equipment that provides terrible technical support. It is by far the worst and least convenient MP3 player I've used. Their video play back is terrible as well. I think itunes is an awful program. It is not arranged in a convenient way. The visual layout is difficult to navigate.

What does it mean that you have one? It means you should look forward to the release of the next Zune. That's what my Ipod means to me.

I guess people are just attracted to the simple design. I have the 5th gen. 60 gig video iPod and get a lot of attention for it.

It really just means that you have good taste, like music, and can afford the ridiculously expensive mp3 player.

people think they are cool because they were one of the first mp3 players of that type. i personally do not like ipods, because of their cost and all of their problems.

They aren't. Alot of people just think they are. Having one means that you are one of the people that think they are "cool".
