If you made a minor mistake, didn't do something on time, forgot something from a long time ago, etc?
My boss usually yells and say, "you should go to hell", "f**** you, f*** this", etc...

Of course the behavior of your boss is not very professional and I recommend changing jobs, but if that's not possible for you, I recommend this.
When he is yelling at you and you feel like your going to cry, just tune out and think about how ridiculous he is. Cut off your emotions by focusing on how inadequate as a boss he is. Then walk away as soon as possible and take some time to compose yourself.
I have been in similar situations where I can feel the tears welling up and this helped me.

Your boss sounds preety unprofessional swearing and carrying on. There are better ways to highlight a problem or highlight something this is doe incorrectly and needs changing.

I have this problem too. I sometimes cry when I am stressed and I always feel embarrased that I do. I wish I didn't cry so easily, especially when it's just a job and there are plenty of jobs and employers out there. Maybe, and I should take my own advise as well, remember that it's just a job, you are a good person and are working hard, you can improve and remember that you have many great qualities!

You know that is against the law. You know that if you have witnesses you can do something about that. I don't really think that this is a serious question from looking at your profile and the amount of time you actually ask questions on here. However, if this is true and you have witnesses get a lawyer and go to the head of the class cause you definitely have a lawsuit that will win.

U just have to stand there and take it but no boss should be speaking to any employee like that in the workplace, either put in a complaint or look for a new job there is nothing worse than dreading going to work.

You boss sounds like an awful jackass. Prevent future crying by A) quiting your job and working for a real human being, B) stop screwing up so much at work, or C) just remember that crying lets the sad out.

No job is worth abuse by an employer. Tell your boss you don't appreciate being talked to in this manner and that you would like him to refrain from doing so.

As for crying when this happens that is something that you will have to work on within yourself. With experience and age things like this will not bother you so much.

Having spent over 10 years working in workers compensation, it is my suggestion you try talking to him about the verbal tirades and how they are worsening your stress in the office. This, in turn, will give you a leg for any claim you might have to file in the future, along with documentation you have to keep starting right away. This kind of employer really needs an eye opener into the world of workers compensation and workers compensation insurance premiums....my opinion =) Prayers.

I would go to the owner or a step above him to report him. His actions are inappropriate and uncalled for. The best way to not cry is to breathe deeply. Breathe in for a count of 5 and out for a count of 5 to help you calm down. But what you need to remember is that you should not be dealing with this. I would start looking for new employment, but definatly let someone know about his/her behavior.

imagine that the 'boss' is wearing summink ridiclous, like a dress (obviously if hes a guy) or like pretend they have snot coming out thier nose, actually even betetr when they've finished say "yeah sure cept u otta little bit of snot just there..." haha it helps not to take it so seriously, actually when i was at school, whenever my teacher started yelling at the class i would turn to my friend and say, she's in a bad mood today, probly didnt get any again last night, made us laugh it off, remember no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. hope this helps and good luck xxx

practice at home and learn to vomit on cue. be ready for his next outburst and puke all over him. that is what a friend of mine did and they were never bothered again. the puke ploy never fails. one other thing comes to mind. if you have over 20 employees working there, tape record him and try to get someone to back you up. take notes and write up as much as possible. then go to an attorney that is familiar with labor complaints and you might be the boss soon. the feds don't allow that sort of treatment.
