This goth girl at school, upon learning that we could no longer have unnaturally colored hair, sheared her mid back length pink hair into a mohawk and dyed the sides in a checkerboard pattern of blond and black. I don't know about anyone else, but that was way more distracting to me and my friends than her having pink hair was. (I do think it was pretty cool though-it fit her personality well)

One time we went to North Carolina on vacation, My wife got her hair done and when she came home I could not help but to start laughing hysterically. She had some sort of wild bouffant with curls (of course she was in tears). We can now laugh at that and refer to it as the Carolina Cut.
