whats up guy. No offense on your flavor, yet somewhat don't love maximum of those bands, so i dont understand if this is a lot help. Dont p.c.. up a guitar or bass, basically to sound like your customary bands! in the journey that your gonna initiate up guitar or something, paintings on it, and attempt strengthen your own sound! finding out between bass and guitar is a huge question, however it boils right down to 2 issues contained ultimately - Guitar is better of the 'out on the frontline' instruement, the position because the bass is way better the laid decrease back groove device. for example countless muse songs are bass pushed, the position as all of A7X's songs are heavily guitar led. you somewhat favor to attempt out both and basically see which one matches with you. a good idea might want to be to perchance initiate out on bass gaining knowledge of fall out boy songs etc, because they are really uncomplicated, and went your better positive, get onto some better more suitable stuff, like muse for example. an recommendations-blowing bass line firstly might want to be "muscle museum". the same is going for guitar. As for a starter guitar, i might want to point a Epiphone. Epiphone are low-cost gibsons - sound tremendous, good and nicely outfitted. both a SG or Les Paul ought to do the trick. If not, then a Squier, (that's an same as epiphone except for fender) Stratocaster or Telecaster ought to do the trick. As for basses, im heavily biased in direction of Fenders, so i might want to point a squier p bass firstly, as they are the low-cost version of a fender (Pete Wentz has a signature squier p bass out precise this second) If not, peavey do a touch extraordinarily good newbie basses too. solid success with it guy and save in recommendations - in case you suck firstly, stick it out and be continual, you'd be solid earlier than you imagine. desire this helps

I am sure he plays a lot of different types of basses but the type he is most often seen playing are Fender Precisions with a badass bridge on them.

Here are some examples of the beat up bass that he is often seen with that has the baddass bridge on it.:

He also has some Precision (or P-Basses) that have the stock bridge on them:

They are great basses in that they are built like tanks and can really take a beating. They are very popular amoung punk players.

If you're talking about the one that looks really worn out, he says its a really cheap bass that he sent to a shop and they made it look like that on prupose. There's another one with the Decaydance logo on it but he uses it less often.
