For me, it's either one of the two following ways or a combination of both that works...
1 - If you're into analyzing things and being rational, you can just try to sit down for a few minutes and think about what is making you nervous or stressed. If you figured it out, try to think back to similar situations. How did you handle those? You're still alive after all! If you were nervous or stressed in the past in anticipation of "bad" things you thought might happen or tough times you might not be able to go through, think if it really turned out as bad as you thought. Most of the times we think ourselves crazy into fears and worries that never even materialize...
2 - If you are more into doing physical things, if you are an active person (or even if you are not, starting to be more physically active could actually help you be less nervous/stressed), do regular exercise. Go jogging, bicycling, swimming, rollerskating, join a gym...whatever you like! Or if you need relief of some temporary stress, lock yourself up in your room, put on your favorite music, dress up and dance around crazily! Do something that you enjoy and that keeps your blood running and pumping - your body will have less energy to bug you with stress or nervousness!!!
Hope that helps a little...

A stress ball! That seems to work pretty well. If you don't want to buy one, just fill a medium sized balloon up with sand. Also, you can try painting/scribbling. You could write an angry or stressed letter to who or what is making you stressed or angry and then just throw it out or tear it up. What ever you want!
â¥Good luck!!!!â¥

You have accomplished the first thing, which to many people is very difficult and that it acknowledging that you are stressed.
The second thing is to make a list of things that stress you out. This requires honesty on your part and looking inside which I call going internal.Once you have that done, wait a few days and let it sink in. It will also help you to be more aware about your reactions to the stress and being in tune to the specific things that stress you. Then go back to the list and add anything new or more specific....Give it a while to sink in again. Leave the list for a few hours or a day........Go back to the list. Go through each thing and decide whether the stress is something you can do something about.
example: If being around a certain person stresses you out, find out why......Maybe the complain all the time. Then figure out what you are willing to do about it......Ignore them. Avoid them. Tell them. If you choose not to do anything about it then the stress is created by yourself................Go through your list and see what things you are willing to do something about.....You always have choices.........Figure out what you can do about it....Avoid asking why questions and focus on what you are going to do to elevate the stress.....This takes time and effort....................In the mean time do alot of self soothing and decreasing your vulnerability......If someone stresses you out and you can avoid them until you figure out how to deal with it. Go for a walk. Take a bath or shower with your favourite soap etc.....Have a tea............Give yourself me time. Take care of you.................I could write forever.
A fast and quick relief idea would be to google bush blunders in your browser and check them out.......or go to you tube............lots of funny stuff there.................Type in funny pictures or Guinness book of the weirdest places etc.................get out of the head space your in and have some fun...................life will still be there but the most important thing is to take care of you first.......Love yourself.....................learn to breath. Watch a ridiculous movie or funny flick......................do something weird and strange to your hair................change your environment around to find a new look.New environment.Fresh start,,,,,,,,,,,,,hug someone. love someone.........give to someone.......................smile at someone...................talk to someone...................write a letter to yourself about how you feel about being so stressed out.........Dear me.....Why are you stressed out you have a great family and the kids are so good".......................
okay i think i made my point......I hope you feel better.......here is a hug......................love yourself........................
