Is it so wrong to hate school? (Read details)?

I'm a really good student with good grades (80's and 90's %) and I just don't like school. I hate the teachers, they are unfair to the other students. I hate just school itself. I get told what to do all the time and they make me do unnecessary things.
For example, we get our marks so far and I'm content with mine (87%, highest in the class) and she tells us to write goals. I ask her, "Do I have to? I'm content with this, I don't expect much higher." And she says, "Just do the work, you can always strive for excellence." Like WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE THEY'RE FEEDING US? Most kids don't want to strive for excellence. And when I tell other people my opinion they look at me like I'm on drugs because "I'm such a good student and I shouldn't think of school this way."
And I know I'm complaining alot right now... But I just have one more thing.
If I EVER do something wrong - fling an elastic, throw a pencil; the teachers always blame the other kids. Even when I own up to it they don't believe me

And please don't get the wrong impression of me. I'm not a spoiled brat or anything, I just really dislike school. But I don't want to drop out.
And I'm just bored with it.

I also think it's just the school board. Like I've been to 2-3 schools within this board and they seem to be poor. We can never go to field trips. I dunno..
And yes, I do have friends. A whole bunch and we sit together at lunch. We take up like 3 or 4 tables.

Sounds like you just hate that particular school. It may be too dumb for you.

But yes, it's perfectly ok to hate school. Most kids do, and it's certainly not for everyone.

But for you, I'd just suck it up and be very careful to choose the right college for you. I'd probably have the same attitude as you, but I went to a public magnet school where the teachers weren't stupid like that (found some of those types of teachers at my undergrad tho).

I don't really know what to tell you, except you just have to muddle through it like everybody else. Trust me- when you get to college, it's a completely different world- and one you can actually learn one in. A degree is important these days, if you want the most amount of opportunity. I'm not saying that there aren't many sucessful people who dropped out of school, it's just much easier in the long run to stay in. Trust me!

ohh believe me this is normal...i am the same exact way i get really good grades most teachers like me but i can still not stand going to school at all...the only thing i can say to try and help you is to just try and have as much fun as you can the times you are allowed like in the hallways or at lunch or even during classes it makes things a lot easier

No. It's not bad. I hate school too and honestly, I'd love boarding school. Sounds like you'd prefer home-school.

I don't know. you should really not think of school that way think of it as something fun. Don't you have any friends???? school is kind of fun, too. Why don't you just htink of it as something cool and move on..
