I'm getting my degree in Spanish, and while I'm planning to teach, I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions as to what I could do.

You can still teach, but on the side consider doing some translating. If you have really wonderful Spanish, go to your local court house and apply to be a translater. They make a good chunk of money per hour and it is a good way to make some money on the side if you are still wanting to teach.

You can become an interpretor for the state or even for the US. Check wtih your local county too. An interpretor is always needed everywhere. Hope that helps.
