I know this is well a bit extreme, but I saw an article about this on Yahoo! Featured! It said that first take out the battery, and put the phone without the battery into the oven! I'm serious! Than, set the oven to about if I'm not mistaken, 150 degrees farenheit. Another alternative, is to get your hair dryer and sit there and put on high heat to possibly dry up the inside :).
Hope this helps :)

P.S.- If you don't believe me, about the first one, just type it up on Yahoo! search I'm not sure if it'll bring it up but I recalling seeing it :)

Take out the battery, dry the phone with a hair dryer and leave it alone for some days (3 or 4) once it is completely dry put the battery in. It might work then.

Believe it or not we did the same thing with our daughters phone. We used a hairdryer, and let it sit for awhile, and it still works. She hasn't had a problem with it since then.

I hate when that happen!
Try drying it out, but chances are it's toasted.
If you send it in for service, they will fix it but it won't be covered by your warranty.

You've been taught one of life's lessons:
Never leave things in your pockets.
Try returning it and tell them it was disfunctional.
