Duh! Ever heard of the addage that 'form is temporary, class is permanent?' Yes, so he has played very well for the past 2 seasons, but not so far during this one. Coinciding with a dip in Chelsea's all-round form and tactical confusion due to new arrivals. It is the same case when he plays for England, a new manager brings new ideas, and sometimes players take a while to get used to them. Just because he is not playing all that well, doesn't make him a cardboard cut out. This was the player who inspired Chelsea to their first championship titles in 5o years and came runner-up in World Player of the Year. You don't do that if you are a useless robot.

You are so right! Couldn't have put it better myself! From a great player this time last year he's turned into a robot! Look at his face & you'll know what I mean. What's gone wrong?
