Emotionally- I think men have it harder. In part to do with the monthly pain of menstration that women go through. Women are a little stronger in the hormonal influence area. They are able to cope better. Men however do not get this regiment of training and to make things worse; they are subjected to social norms that says a man should not cry or be emotionally depressed. He is supposed to be a strong man.

Consequently there are 6 times more men than women that will successfully commit suicide. Women only make more attempts than men.

Socially- men are expected to be breadwinners. Women are starting to take on this role more and more

Personally- men need to feel they have some purpose. A woman could turkey baste herself a baby. A man does not have this same route. Were expected to be mind readers of women. Obviouse hints are not always enough, just say it.

Battles between sexes- A women will sit on something and let it stew or bring up a past incident that the man did. If a man dared do this, she would leave him for mental abuse.

For women-

Socially- Your supposed to be mothers. Your supposed to know how to cook and be a homemaker.

Personally- You need to feel like you have a purpose, this usually entails children. You are viewed for your appearance, this is what attracts mates. You spend more time with vanity and concerns of your appearance.

Emotionally- You have more sporadic and rollercoaster hormonal changes than men. This can prove frustrating, but as said above makes you stronger.

Battle between the sexes- Women don't take critiscism very well. Very simple things can make them angry. Men are more resilient to critiscism because they learn that they have to be around women.

I think men have it harder primarily given the sociall expectations. Women are starting to move into this realm.

It is a man's world. They make the good money, have the good jobs, can pee standing up, don't cook, don't clean, don't make sure homework's done; they don't do laundry, they don't do childcare, they can pass gas in public and not be embarrassed.
Women, on the other hand, have low paying jobs, have to sit down to pee, do all the housework and childcare (on top of their low paying day jobs), and never fart in public - even if they feel like they are about to explode. If a man is sexually uninhibited, he's a stud. If a woman is, she's a slut. I could go on and on....

the cute girls usually get it the hardest

life pressures are similar for both these days,
anyway the day to day eating and cooking, earning some money,
dealing with all the weird things life tends to throw at us, etc.

Its really only slightly different for men and women.

They shouldn't cheat. Or lie.

Maybe the main goal should be reducing stress so they don't even want to tell at anybody anymore.

Women have it harder. No question.

If I had to have periods, I'd be running down the street screaming like my hair was on fire.
