I have searched ebay, they are more expensive than just buying them! We are having a boy, and have no sheets for the crib we got him at a thrift store. I can never find crib sheets at any second hand store, or they are just as expensive as new ones. Has any one found a good site, or know where to look online to find a good deal on crib sheets? Thanks for your help!

To answer some of the questions. I actually live in Mexico right now...my husband is doing a new program in English for a private academy. But I will be in Cedar City, UT for the birth of my baby.

Target and wal-mart has them, I use the jersey knit (like a t-shirt) and you can get them at K-Mart for $6.99. They are more comfortable. If you were close to me you could have mine.

Ebay and Craigslist. Don't buy any drop side crib and check for recalls before you buy. For the twins we got some solid wood cribs that were solid and in good structural condition. I then spent a couple of weekends stripping the paint, sanding out the tooth marks and painting them. When I finished the cribs looked better than the same models that were brand new.

I would not advice using second hand crib sheets, you really don’t know where they have been at. And do you really want that to touch your precious? Instead you can use flat sheets from your bedding, just tuck them in tightly under the baby mattress and secure with pins underneath.
Burlington coat factory has nice and inexpencive ones.

How about yard sales? Check your local papers - many advertise with baby items. My son & daughter-in-law just sold tons of baby stuff that way.
