I had a drean about a raven that flew onto a window sill in my bedroom and just stared at me for a long time, it was about five feet tall and at first I thought it was a crow but it was sort of regal and I knew it wasn't.

Well the raven signifies betrayal, disharmony, death, and disharmony, but windows represent happiness, and vast possibilities.

The fact that the raven is so large and watching over you threw your window could possibly represent someone that has passed that is watching over you thats why you knew it wasn't a crow, you knew it was someone you respected. IDK haha

Hello,

(ANS) The raven in this context of the dream is symbolic, its a sign or a symptom either of previous events or about a current situation. It really depends what the raven means to you personally.

**The raven is a bird that lives & nests in remote places, on the edge of cliffs or in inaccessible mountain tops. The raven is a member of the crow family (along with rooks, crows, jackdaws, maggpies, etc) which means its a scavenger i.e. will eat meat or death creatures.

**In native american indian sharmanism the raven is a creature of power, the raven could possibly be a messenger or even possibly your power animal or totum animal.
