Have you tried putting it in the washing machine, that may work well just check the care label. Another option is to buy cheap plain ones from a dollar/pound store. That way you can just replace them when they get dirty.

This cleaner works well on shower curtains as well as the tub
Peroxide
Cream of tartar
Make a paste of peroxide and cream of tartar. Scrub vigorously with a small brush. Rinse thoroughly. If the stains persist, spread the mixture over the stains and apply a drop or two of household ammonia. Allow to set for two hours before scrubbing.
Get a spray bottle and fill it 1/4 the way with Jet Dry and the rest with water. When you get done in the shower, fine mist the walls and shower curtain. Maker sure that the shower curtain is pulled all the way to dry properly, do not leave it open, or it gets mildewy where it folds over itself

1. Wash in the machine with bleach and white towels. Hang on your rod to dry.
2. Spray on Scrub Free and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse.
3. Wipe off your shower curtain every time you use it-what a pain.
4. The easiest-buy new every couple of months. If you buy a shower curtain liner, they are no more than $6.00 or so at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

Put it in the washer on hot with detergent and about a 1/2 cup bleach. When the cycle is done put it on rinse one more time and add Fabric softener ( that helps keep the soap grime from clinging to it ) As soon as it's finished hang it up wet. After just a couple of showers the wrinkles will be gone. Hope this helped you out.

After you clean it, or buy a new shower curtain, every day after showering, spray the curtain with 2 parts bleach, 1 part water. That will keep the shower curtain from getting all gross. It also helps to straighten the shower curtain out on the rod after taking a shower so that the water dropletts on the curtain can roll down into the tub. It keeps the curtain from getting all moldy and it keeps you from having to buy a new curtain every week.

Dear R S,
OK you can buy a new one, but why?? I put mine in the hottest water in the washing machine and probably more than needed bleach and some soap. You can thow a couple white towels in there as well. It is pretty wet when it comes out so I usually hang it on the hooks in the shower agian and let it drip inside the tub. I don't know if it is really economical but I I hate having to spend more money when I don't need to, plus the one I have is a very good one and feel like keeping it.........Good Luck

Shower curtains are cheap. Throw it out and get another. Use a cloth curtain that you can run through the wash machine and an inexpensive plastic liner. When the liner gets ugly toss it and replace it with another one. A good cloth curtain should not be more then 20.00 at walmart.

Purchase a new one, or use a foam spray cleaner (Non-bleach if you don't like bleach) The foam will oxidize the grime to a point where you can then scrub using something that has both a rough and smooth side. Rough side first and then the smooth side will let you know if the grime is off. Rinse.....
Really, too much work... I would purchase a new one.

Bleach, put some in a squirt or spray bottle and watch your clothes. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and rince, again making sure not to get on your clothes. I had a roomate who once put the liner in the washing machine. It worked. I always use bleach or I just buy a new one. They are only about $3.

Easiest way is just to chuck the curtain in your washing machine. The hot water helps loosen the scum and it comes off easily as the washer churns around. Stop the washer before it goes into its spin cycle and hang the curtain back up to drip dry.

Put it in the washer with a load of towels. The tricky part is getting all the water off. It can be put in the dryer with the towels for just a couple of minutes. Then hang it back up on the rod. You are right, it doesn't take long for the soap scum to show up again. A . . . . . . work is never done.
