If you're going to wear shoes, wear red, although black matches almost anything red goes with the dress, and red nail polish. Gold accessories, as silver and red do not complement well. You will probably spend the whole time barefoot anyways, at least when I went to prom thats what all the girls did, best to just save yourself the pain. Hope you have a good time.

Red can be a hard color to match.
Wear black hosiery with a red dress and you can end up looking like either Mrs. Claus or a working girl on 14th Street NW.
Wear red tights with a red dress and red shoes and you start to resemble a schoolgirl on her way to a Christmas pageant, only the schoolgirl looks young and cute and you look big and silly.
This is a tough one... get a good friend's opinion... when you try this outfit on ! :)

Gold jewelry, black shoes and black sheer stockings (if you are going to wear stockings). A jacket or coat will cover up all this wonderfulness, so opt for a drapey, dressy shawl in a beautiful red/black/multi print you can cuddle up in if it gets cold. Lipstick to match your dress.

dont go with red.....it will blend in with the dress and then neither will POP...i would go with black actually.....silver would look nice....gold seems to be becoming more of a 'mature' look.....you could get some with red trim like red beads or something

and well i guess the same goes with jewelry,
or if it is lke a shorter flirtier dress...try black flats with some big black bangles and a long black beaded necklaces.

I would say black and/or white/silver if it's a bright red. If it's a dark, crimson red, I would say gold and/or brown.

i would go with silver shoes and accessories, or gold. either one works but dont mix silver and gold. you can even get earrings with silver metal and some red rubies or beads or something.
