you've obviously never played football, nor understand the strength of the premiership! This player has been out with a very serious long term injury, it will take quite a few reserve team games plus substitute appearances before Arsene even considers bringing him back over a young, fit and very good player in Emmanuel Eboue. Simple. Learn some football knowledge.

Lauren is fit now but has been told by Wenger that he is 2nd choice for the right back position after Eboue and has asked for a transfer. His contract was due at the end of the season and West Ham are interested. Shame, i thiought he was an asset to the Gunners.

"The problem is that since Lauren got injured I have Justin Hoyte who got promoted, I have Emmanuel Eboue who got promoted and I have Johan Djourou who can play in there too," explained Wenger.
"It's always the same. You make room for young players and then it is difficult to leave them out again. I feel we have too many players in that position now.

It's strongly rumoured that WHU have put a bid in for him, which Arsenal might find acceptable. Hoyte and Egboe? are seen to be in front of him in the pecking order.
