Will we ever be able to take a vacation to the moon or to marz ?

Space travel already HAS become reality for non-astronauts. My guess is that the price will come down considerably and be more available to more people, but I don't see it becoming inexpensive in our lifetimes. The cost of a launch is just too high with current technology.

Vacations to the moon or Mars are a bit more problematic, although the moon is probably more feasable, simply because it is closer. I don't doubt that one day the super-wealthy will be able to vacation in outer space, but I don't see it in the future of the common, everyday family.

Yes in the next 8 to 10 years there will be non astronauts in space flying here and there. Maybe in 20 yrs we will Finlay colonize the moon. Bye.

Yes, several companies are already building commercial space craft. Google Branson Virgin space travel, you should find info on Virgin's 'space program'. It'll cost a few hundred thousand though, for the first few years!

it is inevitable, it will allow distances on Earth to be shorter and the time to get to your destination to be quicker. Also it would be a way for travel companies to gain more profit.
