WHats bad is when I try to talk to someone and my sister interupts me in the middle of my sentence and dominates the conversation, happens A LOT
and my family(including big sis) wonder why I am shy and have 0 social skills >_<

It's terrible, I know someone in my office who's like this. The conversation always goes back to her. I usually can't put up with it and have to be really rude and say 'Sorry, do you mind if we don't talk about you for a change'. That usually shuts her up for the rest of the day!

Sometimes I don't say anything and see how long they'll go. It takes a while sometimes. It's really funny when they ask you a question and you don't answer and then they just continue right where they left off. They know you're not listening and keep talking.

Yes,lol, and I am so very guilty of that.. especially after a few Jack and cokes, lol.. I go on for hours...my poor friends

My boss does that. I try to edge my way out of the office but it doesn't always work.

and funny when they keep talking even after you have walked away...
my mom does that.
I tell her "I'm leaving the room now"
but she just keeps on talking....
