The Queen has several residences. The main residence is of course Buckingham Palace, not only Her London "home" but also a working palace. Sandringham House in Norfolk and Balmoral in the Highlands are the personal property of the Sovereign. The Queen and Her family do a circuit of all the residences during the year. Windsor is home from Friday to Monday, the Palace the rest of the week. In late summer Her Majesty goes North to Balmoral continuing the tradition started by Queen Victoria. Sandringham has been the Queen's residence since Christmas and She will stay there until the 6 February. Her late father, King George VI died at Sandringham on this day and the Queen observes His memorial there then returns to Buckingham Palace.

Her favorite place is her childhood home, Windsor Castle. She also resides at Buckingham Palace and Balmoral , and I am sure that she has different county manors at which she can stay, but I do believe if you were looking for a legal address it would be Buckingham Palace.

The location of the Queen - is one of lifes mysteries... she could be here she could be there ... in Buckingham Palace - at Windsor Castle ..Balmoral Sandringham - or who know's... She probably is staying in a 3 bed semi near you..

Although Buckingham Palace is used on occassion, her official residence is Windsor Castle. During July and August, she resides at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
