Yes you can. Just make sure that you are running Mozilla Firefox version 2.0

You can indeed. I like Firefox but then I am an old Netscape user. Also I like the fact that Firefox is a tad more secure-- not as many people use it so it's not as tempting a target. I find it very user-friendly. Some pages do better in IE but very few; I also like the popup blocker on Firefox.
Not to mention I love the logo!

That would be your best bet - to have those two browsers. I have them two also. There are advantages and disadvantages in each of them. Some Internet websites were not accessible from IE, so I had to use FF.
But one major disadvantage of the Firefox for me - it doesn't have Rich Text Format - like change font size, color, etc.

Yes. I have both, and I do this. I use Firefox as my default. I only use IE when pages that I am viewing or databases that I am accessing require IE. Otherwise, Firefox is my default. No problems with this at all.

Yes you can. I have them both.
Normally I use Firefox because it is twice as fast. But when I go to a web site that says "this site is optimized for IE" then I leave Firefox running and startup IE.

Yes. Just today (Jan 8, 07) Microsoft released security patches for IE (again). You might want to check out the Kim Komando site. I recall she uses those two browsers, and she likes firefox better (as far as I recall).

No problem at all. You can even download an extension for Firefox that will imbed an IE tab within Firefox, so you're using IE through Firefox.

Yes. You can install as many browsers as you want. I currently have IE7, Firefox 2, and Opera 9 nicely coexisting.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just keep in mind that some sites (like Microsoft Update) require Internet Explorer.

Yes, and I'd recommend using Firefox as default. It is more secure than IE.
