I have a B.A in M.I.S and a M.B.A with concentration in Accounting

you'll want to inquire with the Georgia board of accountancy, however you need 150 hours of education of which 30 must be in accounting and 24 semester hours in general business.

I am not sure what your MIS consisted of but it may work or you might have additional accounting classes to take.

Contact your local accounting standards board. Since you have an MBA, you should have enough credits to sit, but the requirements might also specify a certain number of hours with accounting.
