i am taking them 4 the first time tomorrow and am very nervous.

It really depends on the class and how good you are on tests.

I'm a good standardized test taker and only so-so on essays. However, some classes had profs that clearly told you what they wanted to see spit back at them. Did great on those.

I loved standardized tests/multiple choice b/c they're all the same type in undergrad (law school was a totally different story). Basically, you can start knocking off wrong answers and can either guess or it'll give you enough clues to remember the right answer (if it's a 'none of the above" answer).

Well, a midterm covers all of the material that you have learned so far in a class, so yes it will be harder than a normal test, but beyond that you are the best judge because you've taken the class and know the teacher.
