I don't think he goes to jail for his addiction but may be held in contempt during court. I can't wait.

Tritter adn house wind up in court in front of a judge and the judge makes House reinact the rectal thermometer incident. Tritter protests but the judge is his ex wife and takes no sympathy on the detective.

But really.

House will have to go to court where i would think it would be pointed out by House's attorney that these charges were previously dismissed for lack of evidence and that witnesses were coerced and evidence was illegally obtained. I can't imagine Tritter getting a blanket warrant to inspect the hospital pharmacy. Remember, pharmacy records are protected under HIPPA so you need a federal warrant to gain access to those records without the patients permission. I discussed this with some pharmacists to be sure. As is, the search Tritter supposedly did would violate the rights of every patient in the Hospital and being as the patient in question is dead, he obviously did not get a written release from that patient either.

I feel House will have to go to rehab but probably because of Cuddy or because he ticks off the judge and is put in contempt.

At any rate this is supposedly Tritter's last episode so either he is sent away or he collapses from the side effects of the nicotene gum he has been jonesing on all season. If you go back to earlier episodes you will find the story of a young man who ends up in the hospital for just such a problem. they mentioned that the gum can mask other problems and perhaps Tritter has one of those problems. If House saves him then that ends the story too.

Next episode: Words and Deeds
House splits his time between treating a firefighter for uncontrollable shivering, giving Tritter a piece of his mind, and handling his trial for forging prescriptions.

He'll have already gone to rehab, cop an attitude with a judge, but only get community service or something silly like that.
