It really depends on your GPA, race/economic class, and extra currics/letters of rec.
And is this on the 2400 scale or the 1600 scale? It's pretty darn low on the new scale. Decently high on the old one. There's really no way to say, even if we knew which scale it's based on, it's impossible to say without knowing all that other stuff.
If the 2400 scale, even with a 4.0, you can definitely exclude UCLA and UCSD and almost certainly toss out Santa Barbara and Irvine as well. Even Riverside is pushing it. That's under 500 on each section. Cal States might even be stretching it.

If this is the old SAT than I'm going to have to assume that you cheated because if you're smart enough to get a 1460 than I'm sure you realize that just about any U.S. university would be likely to accept you. If this is the new SAT than try looking at state colleges in your area ar maybe try CC for the first 2 years.

unfortunately, schools don't really have cut-off points based on SATs. often, on their websites they have statistics on the range of the SAT scores they're most likely to accept, or the SAT scores of the last class. a lot more consideration goes into acceptance rather than just the SAT, particularly your admission essay, you GPA and class rank from high school, and also you interview...definitely interview at schools you're interested in. if you have a strong application, you can get in anywhere you choose, its a matter of finding where you'll be happiest.

On the old or new SAT? Either way the score is pretty high enough to get you into most schools. How were your grades, class rank and outside activities? They take all that into consideration. Good Luck (is acting in your future)?

If this is the old format SAT then this is surely just an opportunity for you to brag. You know what schools are good and you know what schools you can get into.
