their schedule sucks!!!!
here is the current Monday-Friday schedule (I live on eastern timezone)
9pm Full House
9:30 Full House
10pm Roseanne
10:30 Roseanne
11pm Fresh Prince
11:30 Fresh Prince
Mid Cosby Show
12:30 Cosby Show
1am Fresh Prince
1:30 Fresh Prince
2am Roseanne
2:30 Roseanne
3am Roseanne
3:30 Roseanne
4am Cosby Show
4:30 Fresh Prince
5am Mad About You
5:30 Full House
I dont watch tv often but when I do its the same episodes because they run so many in one night that repeats are more frequent. Sometimes they will put an original half hour series on at 10pm on Wednesday but thats rare.
They used to have a lot more shows, so this leads me to think Nick at Nite is shutting down eventually and Nickelodeon kids programming will be 24 hours instead.

it's not the shows i'm talking about (although Full House does suck) it's the repetitive schedule. you end up seeing the same episode too frequently!

thats too many of the same shows in one night, why are they run in mini marathons? nobody wants to watch the same show 4 times a night, after like 4-5 weeks they will run out of episodes and have to repeat everything since most shows only make 20-25 episodes per season

I love Full House and Cosby and Roseanne, I like Fresh Prince. I wish they would play Three's Company like they use to, but I still like Nick at Nite.

I totally agree. Not only do they not have enough shows, but the shows that they do have have been run into the ground so much that people have lost interest. In other words, they need to be removed from the channel. I am really beginning to think that Nick at Nite is just hopeless. Unless they change their "modern tv classic" theme, they are eventually going to run out of shows to play.

I agree...I wouldn't really consider Mad About You and Rosanne "classic television." I remember when they used to air shows like I Dream of Jeannie, Sanford and Sons, All in the Family, What's Happening!, and Bewitched. That's what Nick at Nite is all about...classic TV. It's like the Cartoon Network showing Saved By The Bell. Hello...CARTOON. Does Saved by the Bell come anywhere to resembling a cartoon??

I agree it does cycle through a little too frequently.
I LOVE Full House, even if it is a little hokey sometimes.
I miss the oldies...Dobie Gillis, Patty Duke, What's Happening, Father Knows Best, etc.

They seem to suffer from programming laziness.
Rather then offering a variety of things, they offer some cheap (in my opinion) shows and put as little effort as possible into programming.
There are so many great old shows that seem to get blown off but they just seem to get into ruts.

A lot of the older programs went to TVLand. Or the rights to broadcast them were sold to other networks.

I liked it when they did the marathon days. Facts of Life would be mondays, Welcome Back Kotter would be Tuesdays. To me these were "new" series because I did not grow up watching them.
