Insults, Sarcasim, & Unsportsmanlike Conduct....anyone sick of it?

I'm tired of all the Insults, Sarcasim, & unsportsman like conduct on here, especialy in the Sports section. People intentionally mis-spelling team names, Insulting players etc & teams when they probably have not been athlete in anysport themselves and are just here to insult and put other participants, especially when they have been warned not to! While routing for your favorite team is a normal thing to do, Points for answering a question in an unsportman like way should warrant a deduction of additional points on top of what a participant recives for answering a question in such a manner mentioned at the begining of this paragraph. Immaturity, that's all it is, if a participant cannot answer a question in a positive way or atleaast provide some logic and constructive critisizm in their answer, penalties should be incurred, just like they were playing the game....ie...15 pts for unsportsman like conduct parallel to 15 yrds in a football game.

Anyone else agree? YES/NO & WHY?

I agree and disagree. I am tired of people spelling things/players names wrong. The trash talking is ok but sometimes it gets out of control. I also dont agree with the 15 point penalty. Thats pretty harsh considering people are just letting feelings out. Life would be boring without a little trash talk.

I see that OCD is kicking in, needing everything to be just so.
Anyway, some people just can't spell very well and the spellcheck doesn't help much with proper names. Trash talk is a big part of loving sports and supporting your team. People live vicariously through their teams and sometimes go over the edge, same for their hatred of other teams/players/coaches. Ignore the ones who are morons. Why do you care? This is a open forum where anyone can jump in, even the crazy ones. Go with the flow, dude.
