.......how do I know whether his thesis is genuine or not when plagiarism is been check and it has got no problem?I meant,this guy is SO darn lazy!!!

Take an exerpt of the dissertation and Google it. Quite often they're bought online and it may come up in a search. Try the first sentence or two.

Most of the time if you take a sentence from the paper and search on google you can find it. That's how you can usually tell.. Not always.. but it's a good indicator. OR you could ask him. Read it and be like DUDE this is sooo good.. did you really write this?! lol

If the dissertation is plagiarized you can find it on the Internet. If you are tech savvy. I would say check his email if he leaves the computer on, or check the computer hard drive.

This matter has nothing to do with you whatsoever! It is not your job or responsibility to monitor how he does/does not collect / compose his work. Tend you your own knitting. Do YOUR work.....don't try and look after him too.
