Exercises that you do to stengthen your pelvic floor for labor. You do them by tightening your vaginal muscles like when you try to stop peeing before you're done. Tighten for 5 seconds then relax. Do that 10 times a day or more, you can do them anywhere

You know what you do down there when you need to pee and can't get to the bathroom just yet (or when you're peeing and you stop?) You're actually using muscles that are useful to have worked up pretty well while delivering a baby.

Typically, those muscles are used on a strictly involuntary basis, but you can work them up to have more control over them by basically repeating that same action you do to stop the flow of pee on a repetative basis.

I'm not positive, but I think there are some studies that have shown that women who do kegals also have less problems with incontinence later on. Don't quote me, though.

Kegal muscles are located in the vaginal and rectal areas. you can do exercises to strengthen them. you just tighten them ( like youre trying to stop peeing) for 10 sec. at a time through out the day. It helps post delivery to control incontinence.

A kegel is the name of a pelvic floor exercise, named after Dr. Kegel who discovered the exercise. These muscles are attached to the pelvic bone and act like a hammock, holding in your pelvic organs. To try and isolate these muscles trying stopping and starting the flow of urine.

kegel exercises are the act of tightening and then releasing the internal muscles of the vaginal wall....one way to "practice" until you understand it is to try to stop urinating midstream, the muscles you use to do that is a kegel. supposedly can help orgasms!
