I have wireless acces from my netopia router but it has a code on it that im asked for when i try to connect. How do i find this so i can connect, or ever change it. Im on eircom

If you don't remember your password your option is to reset the router. You should find a reset pin button somewhere on the router. Usually you need to depress the switch for 7-10 seconds

Im not familiar with Netopia, but on my Linksys there is an configuration page that I can access via my web browser. The wireless section of teh configuration has the keycode. Yours may differ. Try browsing to the manufacturers website and downloading a user manual.

the code should be on your router, what kind of router do you have, connect to the router by wired ethernet cable. click start, run, type cmd, type ipconfig/all , find the gateway address. type that in your explorer, access the router and under wireless security you should be able to change it.

lets me know what type of wireless you have for more precise answer.

Check on the bottom of the router (that's where mine is).

you would have to go into the router and configure the WEP encryption or whatever security it has.
