First of all she was R-M-S.TITANIC, H.M.S. is only for the Royal Navy,R-M-S. Titanic was a White star liner built in Belfast and sunk in 1912 on her maiden voyage,all the best John Boy.

It never sank. There has never been a HMS Titanic. if you mean RMS Titanic, then have a look at previous posts.

April 14 1912 and it is RMS TITANIC. The RMS =ROYAL MAIL STEAMER. The UK govt subsidized the ship as a mail steamer.

I don't know but I do know that it wasn't HMS because this is reserved for Royal Navy ships and stands for His( or Her) Majesty's Ship
