Yes it is. Healthy semen that is (semen produced by a well-nourished, disease-free male) may in fact be not only safe to eat, but actually good for you. Seminal fluid, the base of the semen, is a veritable nutrient-rich soup. Semen is a source of highly concentrated, high-quality protein. In dietary terms, it's comparable to egg whites or gelatin.

Besides protein, semen contains high concentrations of some minerals, such as zinc, and trace amounts of other important nutrients, like calcium and magnesium. While you shouldn't depend on a shot of semen to get your recommended daily allowances of vitamins and minerals, swallowing semen on a regular basis can't hurt as a dietary supplement.

Although semen may look creamy and opaque, it contains very little fat, and few calories.

Yes it is quite healthy coming (no pun intended) from a healthy man. As a matter of fact it has a high protein rate and a lot of women enjoy the taste. Some women find the taste terrible, but then they would probably find other foods just as bad.
A good thing for you to know though, is that if the man eats parsley? It will make the sperm taste sweeter! Got that from my wife.

Not unless it is has a sexually transmitted infection in it. A woman can't get pregnant from swallowing ejaculate — the liquid that carries sperm.

However, keeping ejaculate out of the mouth is one way to make oral sex safer. Unprotected oral sex (without using a condom or other barrier) puts both partners at risk for a number of sexually transmitted infections, whether they are giving or receiving genital stimulation. These infections include gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, hepatitis B, cytomegalovirus, human papilloma virus (HPV), herpes, and, rarely, HIV and chlamydia.

For safer oral sex, use a condom to cover the penis, or a Glyde dam or plastic wrap to cover the vulva or anus.

Aside from the fear of STDs, it's perfectly fine to consume and may be even good for you.
