This is a really interesting scenario. What probably would have happened had the central powers won the war is that Germany would not have been humiliated by reparaitions whcih would have elimainated the need for a leader such as Hitler to reclaim to nations honor. The Ottoman Empire would have been left intact and possibly would have extended the territory that it had been loosing since the 1700's, with the Ottoman Empire in control of the Middle East rather than Britain and France during the 1920'-1940's. Without WWII the cold war between the Soviet Union and America would not have gone as far as it has because no Iron curtain would have been drawn and thus no cold war. (no atomic standoff) Without the acsension of Hitler no holocaust would have occured therefore eliminating the creation of the state of Israel. This in turn would have made the Middle East a far different place politically because the "Western powers" never dominated the Middle East and supported Israel. This would probably have eliminated the need for a radical Islam that was bent on reversing the creation of Israel and a denouncing of westernization. (I believe that without this radical form of Islam people such as Osama Bin Laden would have been rendered irrelevant.
On the downside if World War 2 had not occured then the West would not have seen horror of genocide and discrimination gone mad. The Civil Rights movement was born out of Post War concern for civil rights abuses abroad. Had the war not occured civil rights would have developed much slower in our own country.

Probably, but for different reasons. No doubt the Central Powers would have taken much the same view as the Allies on reparations. Great Britain wouldn't have invaded Poland, but who knows - being on the loosing side could have resulted in a revolution or dictatorship as happened in Germany. The Great Depression would probably have happened as well, destabilizing the world economy.

Another war against the axis by the defeated allies would be likely, but a ww2 with the roles reversed seems unlikely. The Prussian/German culture was unique and it seems unlikely to me that the Nazi's would flourish in any other society. The axis in ww2 killed millions of civilians, (Germans 6+ million Jews and others, Japan killed 10 million Chinese), in genocide, (not in any actual part of the war). Democratic based societies don't do that, autocracies do. The pattern of genocide by an autocratic government has been played out after ww2 in Bosnia Africa, and Iraq.

happy to burst your bubble, yet no President ever led us to victory. The President does not lead in war. WW I - We did not win that war. We in simple terms confirmed up close to the tip and helped. WW II - We did not win that war the two. The Allies gained that war. you elect an outstanding war? wasteland shelter/typhoon. And what President certainly prevented the tip of the Korean war? think of roughly it. >older and wiser< No they don't. The leaders in war are Generals and Admirals. The President supplies a typical order. a stable President supplies the order then gets out of how.

Countries have too much fun shooting at each other for war to end. It does not matter who loses. The only thing that matters is that SOMEONE somewhere can say: Showed THEM! And, well, if a few million people have to die for that, Dang! Tough stuff, man!

well it wouldve depended on if those powers continued there move to the west, if they continued on and brought a land war to our homefront, they're wouldve been another war, just it wouldn't have been a world war. if they had managed to get over to us, they most likely wouldve destroyed us, mainly because, we've never had to deal with a land war on our home front. basicly, everyone would be wearing german outfits, and swastikas on our arms. and the world would be terrible.
