There's no role-playing game section on Yahoo Answers currently. The only two video game sections are "Video and Online Games" and Games and Recreation. In the future however,a Role-playing section could be created if their was enough demands and more questions.

Sadly there is not a roleplaying section, yet. Games and Rec is the best place for any RPG questions you might have, so you came to the right place. As for sores in the NYC/Long Island area, I'm not familiar with the area so I can't give any specific advice but you could try an online store locator like this one.

Also try the yellow pages under game stores and also comic stores and hobby stores.
