I'd say Futurama just for the fact that we are falling slave to a corporate culture of rampant consumerism.
Lets face it the world is not held together by government, or the goodness of mankind, it is held together by the ultimate world government, the multinational consortiums.
With that said there would be no way the world of the Terminators would come into being, in addition, there must be a god-zillion hackers out there which would give the terminators like a zillion viruses out there.

"Futurama", a 'the more things change, the more they stay the same' future.
However, in the future there might be a short period of time where things might look like in "The Terminator", though things probably will return back to 'normal' very quickly after Terminator-ish event.
But... there might be a Terminator-ish Skynet in a Futurama-ish future.

fearing for Terminator...
as we look around us in science , they are building robots and testing AI like there is no tomorrow...
in the good hands it can be used to make bases on Mars and other planets, but history tells us that kind of technology never ever falls in the right hands at the end...

Hopefully like Futurama; a Futurama-ish future would be cool. (Plus, we wouldn't have to worry about overpopulation with those suicide booths!)

Futurama. (that's what i am hoping for). I love the idea of the tubes and the robots and just everything in that show.

Probably like ghost in the shell. We will all become partly cybernetic and able to interact directly with the net. Think about possibilites are endless. Infinite life. No diseases. Really good hackers. Bit like terminator then, but not really post apocalyptic.
