Every time I get ready to type something with the letter "a" caps lock comes on and caps lock still comes on when I press that key.

Perhaps there is something stuck in the keyboard between A and Caps Lock that is causing this issue. Turn teh keyboard upside down and give it a sound spanking to dislodge the detrious that has accumulated there
