It is just a hard time in her life, as is anyone in there late 20's trying to be independent. How can I encourage her to hang in there?

And make yourself some bucks

Hey Bill,guess what I'm in the same position as you are, ignore some remarks Bill just you have a lovely Xmas with your Grandchildren and family and to all out there A Merry Xmas and a Very Happy New Year from Terrano here in Scotland. (ps.are you like me, first to play with the toys)

well if she has a computer send her a funny e card or just pick up the phone and give her a call she might be happy to hear from someone!

Send her flowers with a personal note from you, saying something like, wish I could be closer to u to help ya out, love you girl like my sister...

I would call her everyday and listen and give support as much as you can. Send a small gift to remind her of your friendship you share. :)

I know it's not instantaneous... but you could burn her a couple cds and decorate the cases all cute and send them to her.

Write her an e-mail, letter, call her, make plans to visit her or have her visit you. Plan to do something together.
