I live in a rural area where our water and electric service are provided by co-ops. Water runs around $25-$40 depending on the season. Electric runs as high as $125-$140 in the summer and around $75 or $80 during the winter. Taxes? Less than $300/yr even though we have five developed acres with a pond.

I would imagine these services will greatly vary by state and community. For example, large metropolitan areas will likely represent costs on the high end were you to graph it and rural areas will likely be on the low end.

Water is about $75, quarterly. My home is electric only (elec baseboard heat, window a/c.) My bill is about $200 mo. However in the winter, our primary heat is pellet stove (fire place) and summer is only 2 window a/c units. 1600 sq feet/located in Maryland. We have a boat with a/c and spend alot of time there in the summer.

2 bedroom house:
Water in the summer, about $100 (I have a yard and lots of plants) and electricity, about the same, especially now that I use the heater. When I don't use the heater, it's about $40.
