If you're getting cramps just below your stomach area you're probably going to get your period . If you don't get them soon, then it might not be cramps and you should tell your mom and maybe go to the doctor .

I was 12 when I started my period. I took two aspirin when I felt the cramps coming on and that seemed to help. I would stay home from school the first day once in a while also if the cramps were bad and applied a heating pad to my belly. The heating pad also made me feel a lot better. It's just part of growing up and you will be fine.

i usually have to go pee a lot more often right before i start. but it does sound like you might be starting soon. i seem to get "warning pains" about a week before i start, so don't freak out. but i would tell your mother. trust me, no one knows what to do more than her. or tell your grandmother if you feel comfortable. my grandmother adopted me, and she's really smart. most grandmothers are.

The only one qualified to answer you is your doctor. Every women's period begins with diffrent symptoms. There are also other possibilities.
