the moldy smell is probably coming from the pad under your carpet. I would recommend removing the seats and carpet to allow the pad to dry. If you leave it in rust will eventually attack your floorboards causing premature failure..

You will have to remove the seats and carpet -- there is usually a felt underlay material attached to the underside of the carpet that mildews when it gets wet. This will have to be replaced (really not such a bad job -- the felt comes in rolls and you simply use the old material as patterns and re-glue the underlay in place) then shampoo the carpet, dry and reinstall. Some high dollar vehicles have a foam material sewn into the carpet -- this can be powerwashed and dryed after removal.

Pull the seats, take out the carpet trim, steam the molding and the carpet. Let dry and install the molding or replace the molding or carpet if not up to your standards.

Replace every piece of fabric in the car, short of that one hell of a detailing. Either that or alot of those damn tree air fresheners. The mold has gotten into the foam inside your seats and the mat of the carpet by the time you can smell it, so yer better off either dealing with it or replacing all the fabric present.

If you take out the parts, carpet, etc, wash them with bleach, also rub some bleach on the carpet if you don´t mind losing the color, but for mold and mildew nothing works best than bleach.
