I would have to say The chorus from "You Can't allways get what you want" by The Rolling Stones or "The Part from Fool on the Hill" by the Beatles that says" He never listens to them, he knows that they're the fools..." or the bit from Ten Years Gone by Led Zeppelin "Everything as it was, and again it will be...Though the course may change sometime, it still will always reach the sea..." I feel this lyric, as well as the Rolling Stones lyric mean that regardless of what happens, things have a way of working out.

my favorite lyrics are by alkaline trio because they don't just come out and say what they're singing about, they usually have hidden meanings in their songs and creative ways of saying things.

for example: in the song "goodbye forever" - "and we say goodbye and go underground, or up towards the sky, up in smoke, burnt down to size, atleast we're still friends, atleast we're still alive" is about the end of a relationship and how even though the relationship is dead, atleast it wasn't the result of anyone dying and atleast they can still be friends even though they've broken up.
