I understand you can only use the pools of the hotel you are staying in so im looking for somewhere with a nice pool. Im looking for something on a good part of the strip, somewhere with cheaper options for when grabbing food quickly. I like look of Mandalay Bay, Ceasars Palace, Bellagio, Luxor - which is best???

Caesars Palace, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay all have incredible pools, but, they are very expensive..

The Luxor has a nice pool and the room rates "sometimes" are very reasonable, the Luxor does have a food court..The rooms in the new tower are little larger and nicer, but I like the rooms in the Pyramid. How often do you get the chance to stay in the worlds largest pyramid. They also have some small suites with a jacuzzi tub built up in the corner of the room, great view.

A couple of other nice options for you would be the Mirage, great pool area, center strip location, very nice hotel with reasonable prices. The Flamingo also has a very nice pool, center strip location and reasonable rates. Monte Carlo has a really cool pool area, including a 400ft lazy river, MC is on the South end of the Strip, in the same general location as the Luxor(LV Blvd and Tropicana)..

Sunday through Thursday is much cheaper than Friday and Saturday. You want to avoid special events and large conventions, these drive room rates through the roof..

I always try to plan as far in advance as possible, when I find a good rate I hold that room, then I keep looking for a better deal. I use the travel sites to gather room rates then call the hotel itself to see if they will match the price, some will, some will not. Booking through the hotel rather than buying a package leaves me with the option of cancelling the reservation when/if I find a better deal..

If money is no object I would choose from LV hotels in this order
Venetian
Caesars Palace - Palace Tower
Bellagio
Wynn
Luxor
Mirage
Paris

Las Vegas is really a city that's something for all therefore find it with hotelbye . Las Vegas is really a town with great attractions and one of those could be the popular Las Vegas Strip; the place where tourists can like a walk in the hot desert morning, or have a stroll downtown and view a stunning light reveal that spans an entire road, the Fremont Street Experience. Guests can also get a glimpse of wonderful earth popular re-creations like erupting volcanoes, the Eiffel Tower and the Sphinx of Egypt in front of the various hotels and casinos. Las Vegas is just a city that continuously reinvents it self, therefore even if you have already been here before you will never come to an end of enjoyment what to do.

Of the four you list, Bellagio tends to be highest rated, but also most expensive. A good site with Las Vegas travel tips is at http://lasvegashotelreview.blogspot.com/ . If your honeymoon is in the winter or early spring, you should call the hotel in advance and confirm their pool will be open during the specific dates you stay. A lot of hotels shut down their pools, or some of the pools for maintenance in the winter. Luxor is a good bet in the mid-price range.

Has to be Luxor they have the best pool by far with personal gazebos that you can rent with fridges and higher beds etc etc with Champagne all inc in the price just what you need for your Honeymoon. They have 3 pools at the Luxor as well as a great spa that you can you if you stay there at reduced rates.

Whichever hotel you decide to have your honeymoon in Las Vegas you will have a great time... Good Luck and Best wishes

Luxor was my personal favorite. We stayed at the Tropicana, and it was very nice. MGM would probably be your best bet. It is very inexpensive, but is the center of everything that's going on. Mandalay and Bellagio are very nice, but also more expensive. The Stratosphere was also very cool, but a little out of the way. If you stay anywhere on the strip, I think you will be extremely happy. There is so much to do withing walking distance! Also, New York, New York was really cool.
MGM is definitely the best. They have a lot of places to eat.
One thing that is nice about Vegas is that everything is so close. You wont have to travel far to eat or be entertained!!

Aladdin is a gorgeous resort with 4-star amenities, but since they are converting to Planet Hollywood there has been a lot of construction going on. It tends to drive the people away. They have recently reopened most of the property and are finished with all the inconvenient renovations, so they are trying to get people back there and the rates have dropped. Brand new rooms that used to go for $189 a night are now dropping in half. Matter of fact I saw the Aladdin at $49 a night on one of those discount travel sites, I think it was TravelWorm.com. My buddy is valet there and said it is gorgeous now. The new style is like the W hotels. Very Chic!

All the hotels on the strip look fantastic!! We stayed at Circus Circus with the kids but it was a bit far up the strip we were sorry we hadn't stayed lower down. Its not the sort of hotel you'd take a honeymoon though....not unless you like clowns! lol
Hope you have a fantastic time!
