Apparently, not that great of a friend......I would never charge my friends to prepare their tax returns.

That said, depending on your income level, you may be able to prepare your returns online and file electronically for free. You can go to the IRS website and they will have links with the various services that will provide free online tax prep. If you don't mind paying, you can have your tax returns prepared online with TurboTax, TaxCut, etc.

I let the IRS do it for me. You have to fill out the form you use for part of it, but they will figure the tax you owe or that you get back. just sign it and send it in.

Just Google "Free tax filing" it should give you plenty of free sites.

You can pick up a copy of Turbo Tax and do it yourself.
