Brightness?

The brightness on the screen of a laptop keeps going down. It suddenly just goes down to 0%. Every time it increased manually, it just goes back to 0%. How can this be fixed?

are you running on batteries? sometimes laptops are designed to lower brightness when running on batteries, laptops like dell have a setting in their bios asking how much brightness to lower, maybe your bios setting are set to 0% ?

Sounds like a dealer fix to me - hope it's still under warranty!

Could be that your not saving changes. then again, i know nothing.
