Try doing a google search for phrases such as 'maximizing fertility'. It turns up lots of articles from proper medical sources giving good advice, like the 1st link below. You just have to ignore the junk articles from people selling herbal supplements and things. See links.
Think of any similar phrases that might be worth searching for.

It often takes a minimum of three months or so, for each of the hormones from the birth control to get out of your device. i doesn't project, if i become you. It took me 3 months with my toddler, in spite of the undeniable fact that the basically accurate is often round six months. It also doesn't damage to flow ahead and get a examine-up out of your ob-gyn. He/She may have the capacity to grant you some good suggestion. good success!

It took me 6 months to start ovulating after going off the pill. I had been on it for almost 10 years. Three months after I started ovulating (9months after going off the pill) we got pregnant!!!
We tried tracking ovulation with temps and with predictor kits, but none of that worked. We decided (per our doctors suggestion) to start having sex every other day. After 6 weeks of that method we were pregnant!!!

I know it sounds like bull but the best thing you could do is relax and forget about have a baby. One reason it takes so long is because your stessing you & your body out so it's already working over time.

When you are on BC for a long period of time, it is harder to conceive. I'd talk to your GYN about it. Good Luck!
