Ramen noodles always worked for me too!!!But the baby needs more and if she does not eat enough , her body will take from her personal stores and the baby will still get some of what it needs through the prenatal vitamins. But beware of dehidration!!!!Dehydration can cause uturine contractions and even premature labor/birth.Make sure she is drinking plenty of fluids!!
All in all however , the nausea should be over soon , but in the meantime, ramen noodles, crackers, dry cereal, are a few things that can usutain her through some of the nausea.Keep reminding her to try to eat even if she vomits it up because it is for her baby, and her baby is counting on her.
congratulations , by the way!!

She definatly needs more nutrition than that. However, if she's feeling rough she ought to sip on some sprite nibble on some saltienes and try anything other than ramen noodles the next time she feels up to eating anything. That stuff has no nutritional value.
Reassure her that this will pass soon. At 11 weeks she's getting to the end of the first trimester and after that things should be better.

Mine confirmed hypothyroid, which does influence many physique structures, which includes the digestive tract. notwithstanding, I additionally get action ailment very certainly, so i'm waiting to work out what happens as quickly as my thyroid is returned heading in the right direction and see if the nausea is going away. till then, I handle nausea with ginger (mixed with water), peppermint gum, and mild-weight ingredients (graham crackers, vanilla wafers, dry cereal). I additionally now have a prescription for phenergen, which fits ok.

I'm almost 17 weeks, and I still have nausea :( I take a prescription and its really helped with gaining weight and being able to eat healthy foods instead of junk because for some reason, junk food was the only thing I could keep down. Best of luck! I feel for her.

I know exactly how she feels. The only thing I ate for the first three months of my pregnancy was pickles and crackers. I drunk orange juice and a little ginger ale. It helped. But to be honest there isnt just one thing for everybody to eat or drink. Every woman is different. So just drink plenty of water and keep crackers by your bed and in the morning before you get up eat 2 or 3 and you will feel better. I hope this helps.

She should eat crackers or something as soon as she wakes up. While I was pregnant, the worst of my nausea was when my stomach was empty. Once you start eating little meals, then it will make eating normally alot easier. Also, don't worry, the nausea will soon go away anyways.

If she feels it is necessary, there is a prescription that the doctor can give her for nausea. Otherwise, for some people bread or crackers throughout the day will help....tell her to try to keep a little in her stomach at all times. She can try peppermints or sour candy also.

She should eat even though her stomach is upset, its the emptiness of the belly and all those stomach acids that makes the sickness worse.
Have her take 25ml of vitamin b6 three times a day. Same time every day, it really REALLY helps. Saved me from morning sickness.

It should pass in like 2 more weeks. Then she'll be in the 2nd trimester. But in the mean time she should try bread, juice, jello, cereal, anything light
