Uggs dilemna!!?

Question

Okay, what to do...first of all, uggs... cool or not. If yes, where can I buy them so that they dont cost over $100!!!

yes they are SO in... i'm a major in fashion and merchandising and have an internship with cosmogirl magazine... they're definitely in... i have the chestnut, sand, and chocolate cuz i like to match them with different things =] lol.. and they're soooo comfy! hmm i'm not sure about where u can buy them though =[ sorry.. try ebay? u never know.. and sometimes, tjMaxx or marshalls has some of the colors [usually like pinks and purples] for less.. wouldn't hurt to try!

First of all, all uggs are ugly. Second of all, there is nowhere you can buy them cheaper than $100. This is because they are made of Australian sheepskin, which is valuable. Also, they're about the same price everywhere, give or take $5, because they are all the same make, so stores can't really put them on sale because it's not their brand. If you like them, there are boots like them called EMUs. They're a bit less expensive, but not much.

UGGs are okay as long as you dont get the long kind and wear them over your pants...
Get them on ebay if you want the real UGG Australia brand (which is actually made in China, not Australia they just use Aussie wool) or if you want real Australian UGGs you can buy them online from Australia.
EMU's are at Tilley's and they are okay.

There are plenty of UGG look alike products out there that I'm sure you can find some that are way cheaper. I have a pair of boots that look like UGGS but I got them for like $40 bucks and they are nice looking. They are called Bear Paws. I also got another pair called EMU Ridge. I got both of these at warehouse/bargain shoe stores where shoes are like half of the original price.

Don't get them because they are in style....get them because you want them and who cares if they are in style or not. I like mine because they are comfortable and when I'm feeling lazy they make great lounge shoes. Good luck and here are some links to what I'm talking about:

i do not care of uggs at all. I thought they were very strange and ugly when I first saw them in the 1990s. And now here they are back again. I really don't know who besides surfers really look good in them. They remind me of the old after ski boots I wear back in the 1980s...which we jokingly called "moon boots".

I think uggs are definitly cute. i don't know if this helps but i got my two that were a light blue, and another pair that were dark purple and a green/blue rim, cuter than they sound. anyways i got mine $70 each at marshalls.

I've never thought they were all that attractive. Of course, I live in the south, so whenever I see girls wearing them it just reminds me of eskimos....seems a little out of place here... Most of my friends (and pretty much every guy that has been present for such conversations) think they look silly as well.

Uggs are SO out..... please don't spend your money and if you need to spend $100+ buy yourself a nice pair of ballet flats in metallic or some strappy sandals... winter is over!!!

love them!! i got one pair of mine and my sister got two pairs at TJmaxx for $60-$70 each. but you have to find out when they get shipments in because they often sell out really quickly at the TJmaxx near me. also marshalls may have some. also check online on ebay or something.

but you should def look, cause they are the comfiest shoes ever!!
