business management bad because it might equate with the Third Reich?
A Professor at Edinburgh University thinks school uniforms are reminicent of the Hitler Youth so she wants to abolish them. Once we start to go down that line of reasoning, where will it end up?

Superior1 - oh, for more answers like yours! But my subtle clue might have evaded you - "Edinburgh" - as in "Scotland"? I've got "UK & Ireland" on my Yahoo! site here. Don't know what's on yours, but nice to hear from our cousins anyway. And commiserations on the politically correct madness that's gripping the US. We've got it here, too. Scotland is first in the UK to ban all smoking in public places, England follows soon. If only they'd tackled alcoholism with half as much fervour! But the PC Brigade go for a soft target, get off with it, then go for more serious issues. Ah well, democracies only get the government they deserve.
On uniforms there are distinct advantages (like saving parents a fortune buying designer gear, and less bullying for kids without expensive items, and pride in appearance and the school etc) but trying to use a negative historical episode to persuade people (whatever way) is a cheap trick. Just how stupid do they think we are?
