Im taking antibiotics for tonsilitis.

No, but if you're on birth control pills it will make your pills not work. That's how I got pregnant the first time. If you take birth control pills you should use a back up form of contraception while using the antibiotics and for about a month afterward.

Some antibiotics can even make your birth control ineffective. If you're on one that does that than yes. The penicillin family is usually the culprit in that.

Not really no, but they DONT let the contraceptive pill work 100%. Take extra precautions while taking antibiotics. x
