David's Bridal Outlet is having their annual sale <$99 ~ perhaps you can find a bridesmaid's dress that would work.
I'd also check Macy's - they usually have their HOLIDAY dresses on sale this time of year for peanuts $$$.
I'd go for a style and color that WORKS BEST for YOU - cause you want to look smashing and unforgetable that day & night. Chose what you like - not what your MOM likes. You have to feel GREAT in it and you will SHINE. It's your DAY !!!
