No. They are looking into the legality of wire tapping but not for the purpose of impeachment. If they feel that boundaries are being over stepped they will reign him in but they want impeach him. This issue is very old and it is the same as it ever was. Bush by law has the right to do as he has done but the thought is that the law allows too much government control (and that may be). Bush was given the freedom to do what he has done via congress and the patriot act but now some congressmen are second guessing what they allowed and Bush pushed. It will all work out but I don't think that the admin. has pushed too far with the wire tapping.
I see that people claim he has done illegal things but that is not the case or if he has it has not been proved. Someone name one thing he has done that was against the law and give me the law as written and where I can view it. Just because you don't agree with his decisions it doesn't make them illegal.

I doubt it. The democrats have just a bare minimum number of votes to have control of both houses, and impeachment would be a divisive thing right now. Besides, they only have to wait 2 years to be rid of Bush. And they certainly won't want to work with a President Cheney. They'll make noise about investigations and so forth, but I doubt that this will go past that point. There's not enough return on the investment to do so.

They may be looking into it or whatever. But lets be realistic, looking into means yeah we'll get back to ya. In other words he really hasn't done anything so horrible to have him impeached. But that is ok because now the democrats are here so we can bring our troops home and let the middle east go to hell. Meanwhile we can cozy up to terrorists and help them to blow up more of this countries things. Oh yes and then we can even add more taxes to cover up the ones we are trying to cut but won't. That should pretty much get everyone whining for the republicans to be back in a few more years.
Really people wake up and smell the garbage. Politicians are just legalized crooks. It does not matter who is in office or not. Every single one of them has done thier share of dirty deeds. But hey it's ok because they have what you don't money, power and control.

You'd have to prove he did something illegal first.

Congress can look into whatever they want, but the privacy act specifically has exceptions that ALLOW wiretapping for the purposes of national defense, which includes counter-terrorism.

Whether you like him or don't, he hasn't broken any laws, and can't be impeached. You can't impeach someone for merely being immoral.

No, he has yet to lie while under oath before a grand jury (like bubba did). You realize of course if you had done the same, and I mentioned bubba, a vision of a president wouldn't have come to your mind, but rather a vision of your cellmate!

He definitely should be as he has done enough illegal doings to warrant it. But, as the country needs to go forward immediately so as to prevent further illegalities and concentrate on ending the war and supplying our country with proper healthcare and education and environmental protection, he may get a pass.
