I am actually a second-timer. Unfortunately, it only gets worse. The last months can be extremely uncomfortable. I was huge. I outgrew most of my maternity clothes. My legs were so swollen that they looked like tree trunks. My feet were so swollen that I could only wear shoes with laces or sandals. I had horrible heartburn. My back ached. Just hang in there. I know that 9 months is a long time, but it is so worth it :) Everything will go back to normal once your baby is born.

Honestly, you have been invaded. It's a normal feeling. This is your body, after all, and all of your normal routines, clothes, diet and rest cycles have been interrupted at the whim of somebody who doesn't even know who you are yet. The good news is that it will be over in 10 weeks. The bad news is that it will become increasingly difficult to feel comfortable during that time.
Hang in there. We've all been at that point, and it does get better, really. And by the time it's over, you'll wonder why you made such a fuss. Good luck.

lol, I am not a first timer...but I remember that! Mine happened around 32 weeks. I was just looking around 5 months pregnant and some what worried. It was a little depressing because I wanted the HUGE belly and all. THEN one SCAREY night I swear I woke up and I don't know what happened! Some maternity shirts were even tight! It's normal lol, and even though it doesnt seem like there is another spare centimeter in there for that baby to grow....it does! It's SO uncomfy after that though! I had heart burn like mad (stock up on TUMS) and could never get a full night sleep! You don't wanna eat (because you're stuffed it feels like), you don't wanna walk because your back hurts, you don't wanna do ANYTHING! And baby moves so much and hard that it feels like it will tear open skin to get out.
Ahh, I remember those days! Not looking forward to them this time lol! Good Luck!!

congrats on your pregnancy!!! your gonna have a beautifull baby soon!!!
i didn't enjoy pregnancy not one bit not from the start. i had to keep reminding myself that eventually i would have a baby and how lucky i am to have a healthy baby! it hurt and i was tired all the time. i would get home from work eat dinner and pass out at 7. not much of a life. yeah it sucked!
but then the day came and my beautiful baby was born and i was so happy!!!
your day will come soon, you can do it it's not forever, just a couple more months!
you just need to remind yourself often that your having a baby!!!!!!!!
Yeah...feel like crap....but yeah!!!!!

There's really nothing to do about the tightness besides finding a comfortable postion to get in until it loosens, for the acid try
Gas-x omg I loved them I ate 2 w/ every meal, put good lotion on your stomache it does wonders.

DON'T WORRY IT IS ALL A PART OF BEING PREGNANT. THAT IS USUALLY HOW IT HAPPENS. YOU ARE SO PROUD AND HAVE GAINED JUST ENOUGH WEIGHT AND THEN....BAM STAR JONES BEFORE GASTRIC BYPASS. MY SUGGESTION INVEST IN ROLAIDS FOR YOUR REFLUX AND HEARTBURN AND JUST HANG IN THERE. WELCOME TO MOTHERHOOD BECAUSE IT DOESN'T GET ANY EASIER AFTER THEY ARE BORN. GOOD LUCK.
